Guests are collected from their accommodation in Port Elizabeth at 08h30.
There is a 40 minute drive to the Addo Elephant Park.
On entering the park at the South gate, we immediately start looking for game, stopping after 2 ½ hrs for a coffee break at Jack’s picnic site and a light lunch at the main camp between 1 and 2 pm.
We continue game-viewing after lunch and exit the park at approximately 4pm to head to our accommodation in the Sundays River Valley nearby.
Dinner will be at Africanos Country Estate Hotel (for own account).
The following morning we have a leisurely brunch (for own account) at Addo Wildlife Park, here there is a walk-in Aviary and other animals that have been rescued.
There is a R60 entrance fee, this is optional.
We then head to a private game reserve to check-in and join their open safari vehicle 4 hour tour, starting at 3pm, where we will have a good chance of seeing their lions as well as Rhino and Buffalo.
There is dinner in an open Lapa around a roaring wood fire at 7pm.
We overnight here and in the morning there is another game drive before breakfast.
We depart for Port Elizabeth after breakfast.
